I have done my MA with english literature with a second class and currently working with a bank.Could you please guide which are the courses i can pursue to improve my job profile?

It depends upon your goals. You should review the qualifications expected for the positions / level you aspire to within the bank, in other banks or elsewhere. Some advancement prospects within the organisation would be related to your work experience and record. You would gain wider flexibility across all sectors and industries, based on MBA. 07/08/2009

Hello, I would like to know which college offers the course of Diploma in Banking laws. What is the duration of the course & what is its eligibility?

Check whether Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (www.iibf.org.in) offers any such option. ASCL Law School, a division of Asian School of Cyber Laws, Pune offers a P G programme in Financial Law through Correspondence/ Distance mode(Details: www.als.org.in). Indicative examples. Banking laws may be taught as part of the LLB programme or a post graduate programme in banking and finance, etc. 07/08/2009

I am a lady chartered accountant, I want to work in govt organisation like any banks or semi got or public sector organsiations But age is the factor, I am 36 years old, I want to serve in govt, What is the procedure?

Entering government service at this age for a general candidate would normally be ruled out unless there are some occasional / contractual assignments coming up and you apply on time.(24.02.2009)

my question is related to the Exams of public sector banks. what type of preparation is required for the exams of Clerical clerks ? what type of books we need to refer ? And what type of preparation is required to complete that paper attempting all the questions ?

The written examination is usually an objective type test with Test of Reasoning , Numerical Ability ,Clerical Aptitude and Test of English Language(qualifying) . There could be a Descriptive test and finally there would be an interview for those who qualify the written test. There are guide books available at bookstores for such examinations.Opt for the reputed publishers for standard revision exercises. The level of Maths is of secondary school standard, but the questions usually test numerical aptitude rather than problem solving skills.(20.11.2009)
