Require 10,000 teachers in Basic School Education Govt. Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh is on the Move to Recruit 10,000 Teachers


The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to recruit 10,000 teachers for its basic education schools, disclosed an official on Thursday. The recruitment process will start from 15 October 2013, and will be finished by 15 December 2013. The secretary of Basic Education, Niteshwar Kumar, issued the orders late on 25 September 2013. 


People who are eligible for the posts are those who must have qualifications like special BTC (basic training certificate), and the Urdu equivalent of BTC as well as those who have qualified the state or central Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). 

The UP government has directed the council to complete the process of recruiting teachers within two months of the start of the drive, and hence create a time table accordingly, said officials. This is an online recruitment drive. 

Out of the 10,000 vacancies-to-be-filled, the maximum vacancies are for districts like Siddharthanagar, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Balrampur, Maharajganj, Chandauli and Kushinagar.
