Reliance Group Security Service (RGSS) is a Reliance Group Company, which provides Security and allied support services to all RIL Group Companies involved in oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals, polyester, polymers, intermediates, textiles, life sciences & retail. The RGSS has branches like: - Operations; Vigilance; Security Technology and Engineering etc. With a view to expanding its scope, RGSS invites applications from young, dynamic and self-motivated Graduates with NCC "C" Certificate to be part of one of the fastest growing security services.
Candidates, who wish to apply, should fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
Educational Qualification Graduate in any discipline.
NCC Passed NCC - 'C' Certificate.
Age 20 yrs to 26 years as on 01 March 2011 ( Born in between 01 March 1985 to 01 March 1991.
Height Male: 170 cms & above. Female: 165 cms & above.
03 cms relaxation in height will be given for hilly area candidates.
Candidates should be well built, with excellent background of physical fitness and extra curricular activities including sports, good in oral and written communication, extrovert and should be willing to undergo a tough commando like security training. Familiarity with computerised environment will be an added advantage.
The selected trainees will be trained both in classrooms & field for first four months in the latest security techniques by specialists. Subsequently they will undergo 'On The Job' training at different locations of RIL. After completion of one year successful training they will be offered contractual service for Ten years and will be posted at various locations. During the service period apart from security assignments they will also be exposed to both formal and informal education in multiple chosen areas like Administrative Services, Hospitality, Law, Logistics, HR, IR etc. Those who qualify will be inducted into these professional streams. Those who still prefer security career can look forward to vertical growth in Security Engineering, Design, Vigilance, Detection, e-Detection, e-Security, Fire and Safety, Fire Engineering, Fraud Control etc. The Company regularly sponsors exceptional performers for overseas exposures in Security Technology & other areas
Since the company attaches lot of significance to the security support services and is investing considerable amount in training, it desires commitment and continuity from the selected candidates. To reflect the candidate's commitment, trainee is required to execute "a completion of training and service bond for 5 years post training". Although the appointment is on a short-term contract, it is only to provide an opportunity for a long-term career in above mentioned fields. Those who do not avail of such opportunity will be separated after the above contract.
Initially, the Trainee Security Executives will get an all-inclusive stipend of Rs.31,000/- (approx.) per month and thereafter as Security Executive, they will get a Gross Salary (CTC) of Rs.4.50 Lakhs per year.

Candidates who have already applied and got themselves registered; please Login with your Reference No. and Password between 22nd December 2010 to 8th January 2011 to know if you have been short listed for appearing in Objective type Mental Ability Test along with Venue & Date / Time of Test. The test will consist of questions on Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, General English & Computer Awarness
The tentative date of Test is 9th January 2011.
All those candidates who successfully clear the Mental Aptitude Test will be required to attend Physical Test on one of the days between 27th January 2011 to 4th February 2011 at Vadodara, Gujarat. Before Physical Tests, the document verification and physical measurement will take place and only the candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria of Age, Educational Qualification, NCC and Height will be made to undergo Physical Tests. The Physical Tests will consist of following events:
- 100 Mtr. Sprint
- 800 Mtr. Run
- Long Jump
- High Jump
- Shot put
There will be separate qualifying standards in Physical Tests for Males & Females.
Candidates who qualify in the Physical Test will be made to participate in Group Discussion and after clearing the Group Discussion; the successful candidates will be subjected to Personal Interview & Psychometry Test.
Candidates finally qualifying in all the phases of selection (i.e. Physical Test, Group Discussion, Interview & Psychometry) will be offered employment as Trainee Security Executive subject to coming in overall merit.
Candidates who qualify in the Physical Test will be made to participate in Group Discussion and after clearing the Group Discussion; the successful candidates will be subjected to Personal Interview & Psychometry Test.
