Palika, Nature of Post : Permanent/Non Gazetted/Pension as per Govt.
Policy. Probation period: Two years. Reservation: 17 posts for scheduled Casts. 07 posts for Scheduled
Tribe and 42 posts are reserved for other Backward Class candidates of U.P.
Horizontal Reservations will be as per rules.(Deptt. No. S-10/13) Pay Scale: ( 9300-34800/- Grade Pay Rs.
4200/-. Qualification: Should
possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering from (1) Roorkee University or (2) The
Hewett Engineering School Lucknow, or (3) The Civil Engineering College,
Lucknow or (4) The Aligarh Engineering College, or (5) The Poona Engineering
College or (6) The Orissa Engineering College or (7) The Diploma issued by the
N.G. Technical Institute. or (8) Any other Institute recognized by State
Government or the State Board of Technical Education. Preferential
Qualifications: A candidate other things being equal, be given preference in
the matter of Direct Recruitment, if (a) He has be served in the Territorial
Army for a minimum period of two years, or (b) has obtained a “B” certificate
of National Cadet Corps. Age: 21 to
40 years. Upper age limit for reserved category candidates will be admissible
according to rules. In case of a person, who has already rendered one year
service or more in any of the centralized service or in the Palika. The maximum
age limit shall be greater to the extent, he has rendered continuous service or
a period of seven years, which ever is less.
