SAINIK SCHOOL NALANDA (BIHAR)RUN UNDER THE AEGIS OF SAINIK SCHOOLS SOCIETY,
MINISTRY OF DEFENCE, GOVT OF INDIA
REQUIRES
1. Principal, Sainik School Nalanda invites applications for the following posts on regular basis:-
(a) PGT, Chemistry 9300-34800 4800 M Sc (Chemistry) with B.Ed/M Ed.
(b) PGT, Computer Science 9300-34800 4800 M Sc (Computer Science)/MCA
(Computer Science/IT).
(c) TGT, General Science (CBZ) 9300-34800 4600 B Sc (CBZ) with B. Ed.
2. Allowance and Perquisites. Rent free available accommodation. Transport Allowance, DA and Medical
Allowance, LTC, Bonus, Pension (New Pension Scheme), Gratuity, etc as per Sainik Schools Society Rules
and Regulations. Subsidized education for two children and free food during session.
3. Other Conditions. (a) Sainik Schools Society Rules and Regulations in vogue and as amended from
time to time will be applicable. (b) All posts are transferable with All India liability. (c) Should be ready to take
on additional responsibilities usual to a residential School. (d) Age Below 35 years, Age will be reckoned as on
01 Jul 2011. (e) Candidates having higher qualification, 60% marks at graduation and post graduation,
teaching experience in reputed English medium public Schools, proficiency in spoken English, attainments in
co and extra-curricular activities will be given preference.
4. Eligible and interested candidates may apply on plain paper with passport size photo, bio-data to include
name, address, mobile/telephone number, Email address, Date of Birth, Status (General/Defence/SC/ST),
academic/professional qualifications with percentage upto the highest degree, co-curricular/extra-curricular
activities with level of participation and details of NCC training, experience certificates with exact date and
institutions served.
5. Applications with attested copies of documents along with a DD for Rs 200/- (non-refundable) drawn in
favour of the Principal, Sainik School Nalanda payable at SBI, Rajgir (Code No 3499) should reach the
Principal, Sainik School Nalanda, PO Rajgir, Dist Nalanda, Bihar-803116 on or before 23 May 2011. Only
short listed candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA for attending the written test/interview is
admissible. The School administration reserves the right to cancel all or any of the vacancies due to
administrative/policy reasons.
