2 Educational Qualifications
- First class B.Sc. or B.Com. (Candidates studying in final year will be required to submit
proof of passing before commencement of training).
- Candidates with NCC background will have a preference selection option.

3 Physical Standards. Well built with good physical fitness, good at sports and extra-curricular activities and willing to undergo a challenging and demanding schedule in a training institute of industrial security.
- Minimum acceptable height 170 cms for male candidates and 165 cms for female
candidates.
- Relaxation of 5 cms for all candidates from North Eastern Region, Kumaon and
Garhwal and to Gorkhas (Proof to be submitted at the time of interview/exam).

4 Duration and Place of Training. The selected candidates will be meticulously trained in Industrial Security for a period of four months in a prime and duly accredited professional training institute in India in the latest industrial security techniques and equipment. This will be followed by ‘On the Job Training’ at various locations of Vedanta Group across India for a period of eight months. This course will be certified by the Training Institute.
5 Salary and Emoluments. The selected candidates’ pay and allowance will be as under:-
- During Training for 12 months. – CTC of Rs. 1.5 lacs per annum.
- Probation Period Of Six months with remuneration of Rs. 1.75 lacs per annum.
- On confirmation As Junior Security Officers. CTC of Rs. 2.58 lacs per annum.
- During Training for 12 months. – CTC of Rs. 1.5 lacs per annum.
- Probation Period Of Six months with remuneration of Rs. 1.75 lacs per annum.
- On confirmation As Junior Security Officers. CTC of Rs. 2.58 lacs per annum.
6 Growth Opportunities. Selected candidates shall be inducted as junior security officers. Apart from challenging career and vertical growth in the field of security, they shall also have opportunities and formal/ informal exposure in chosen areas like Commercial / Finance / HR / Operations and administration and those who qualify would be inducted into these streams. The appointment, thus provides growth opportunity for a long term career in security and internal growth in the company – which is the hallmark of Vedanta. The company shall also sponsor Junior Security Officers with exceptional performance for further security technology courses abroad in Premier Security Institutes.
7 Bond. To reflect commitment, candidates to execute a bond of completion of training and a service bond of two years after completion of training.
